An account is an entity within the ledger that holds assets. Accounts can represent various entities, such as users, businesses, or internal system accounts. Each account has a unique identifier and can hold multiple types of assets. Nxos offers a highly flexible account structure, allowing entities in the system to hold multiple accounts, each serving a different purpose. An account can be assigned an account type, which users can create and define according to their specific needs. These account types can be used to trace funds within the system and map them to real-world accounts, enabling a clear and accurate representation of financial flows.
The high-performance nature of Nxos encourages users to closely map their account structure to real-world scenarios, ensuring that the system accurately reflects the complexities and nuances of their financial operations
